Trish is an award-winning screenwriter and story editor. Her writing credits include feature film Ayanda (Real Eyes Film d. Sara Blecher), which opened Durban International Film Festival in 2015, whilst also garnering distribution by Ava Duvernay’s Array in the US. It is available on Netflix US. At the 2016 SAFTAs Ayanda was nominated for Best Achievement in Script Writing – Feature Film and Best Feature Film. Trish’s other credits include Mnet series Lioness (Ochre Pictures) and Head Story-liner and writer on a 26-part drama series, Ambitions (Penguin Films). She has worked with The Ntintili Factory on drama series and telenovela as story-liner and writer, as well as developing in-house projects for production companies such as Quizzical Pictures, Ochre Media and Rapid Blue, to name but a few.

A former BBC Script Editor and Executive Producer for BBC Scotland, Trish has extensive experience in nurturing talent and developing projects from concept through to script and script-ready production.

As Script Editor her series credits include Two Thousand Acres of Sky, Real Men and BAFTA winner Sea of Souls. She was Executive Producer and drove two seasons of BAFTA winning short film scheme Tartan Shorts. Trish continues to mentor new voices through esteemed platforms such as Talents Durban/Durban Film Mart and has lectured in screenwriting at the University of the Witwatersrand.
