She has worked with a wide range of production companies in Ireland and abroad as screenwriter, creator, and creative consultant.

Lindsay is creator of the ground-breaking animated series PUNKY, the first mainstream animation series in the world in which the central character has special needs (Down’s syndrome). Two series later, it is available in over 100 countries with circa 5 million hits on YouTube.

Lindsay’s Middle Grade novel DAD’S RED DRESS (2017) is under option and in development as a limited television series. The sequel, DAD’S WEDDING DRESS, is coming soon. Lindsay signed a four book deal in 2019 with Little Island books, for her WULFIE series of Middle Grade novels, the first of which came out Sept 2020 (WULFIE: STAGE FRIGHT).

Lindsay has had her plays produced on stage in Ireland and the UK, as well as BBC Radio 4.

After delivering screenwriting courses throughout Ireland for two decades, Lindsay published Ireland’s first comprehensive guide to screenwriting, WRITE THAT SCRIPT, in the same year.

A graduate of Moonstone Screenwriting Labs (2002) and a New York University ‘Gregory Peck Scriptwriting Course’ scholar, (Dublin, 1993), Lindsay has an MA in Screenwriting for Film & TV from Leeds Metropolitan University (1999), during which time she interned at Granada in the children’s department.

In 2012 she founded the Creatives in Animation Network to bring writers and animation creatives together with a view to fostering collaborations and in 2016-7, she was Screenwriter-in-Residence at Maynooth University & Kildare Co. Council Library and Arts Service.
