London-based Zimbabwean actor, writer and director Chipo Chung was educated at Yale and RADA and as an actor has worked with some of the biggest names in cinema and theatre including Max Stafford-Clark, Nick Hytner, Denis Villeneuve, Fernando Meirelles, John Madden, Danny Boyle and Armando Ianucci. She has performed at the Bush, Royal Court, National Theatre and Nuffield to name a few and is currently working on HIS DARK MATERIALS (p. Bad Wolf for BBC/HBO). Chipo’s passion for the arts and its ability to affect social change underlies all the work she does and her mission statement is to tell stories that intersect viewpoints of the global north and south with race, class and revolution as key themes.
